Joe

Tattoo Artist

"The world is divided into two kinds of people: those who have tattoos, and those who are afraid of people with tattoos."

Ever since I was a small child, I’ve been an artist. All through school, I was that kid in class who was drawing instead of taking notes. Even back then I was drawing skulls, and monsters, naked women and grim reapers. Little did I know I was practicing for a career as a tattooist. At the young age of 17, I did my first tattoo.

From that humble beginning as an amateur tattooist, I worked my way into an apprenticeship in Virginia, and was taught the fine-line black and grey techniques that I am still perfecting to this day. I still specialize in those dark and scary images of my childhood, but I also enjoy doing life-like flowers, wildlife and portraits.

I have tattooed around the world and have won trophies at international tattoo conventions.

Now, I’m settled in Ukiah, and I love it here. Come see me any time at Accent Tattoo.
